About Mac & Rains Pharma

Mac & Rains Pharmaceuticals came into existence in 2002 as a private limited company. The main purpose of establishing the company was to produce complete pharmaceutical range products and supply it in the locals market as well as abroad.

The factory design, engineering and the systems have been designed and modified under the absolute guidance of world leaders of the pharma consultancy. With continuous efforts, the company has successfully progressed towards its motto: ‘LIFE FLOWS FROM TECHNOLOGICAL EXCELLENCE’.

Searle IV Solutions has achieved an unprecedented groundbreaking milestone in healthcare sector by being first in the country and only the second company in world to successfully manufacture ready to use Ibuprofen IV Infusion(100 ML), an FDA approved revolutionary research product for pain management. This is a huge achievement not just for the company but for an under developed country like Pakistan. Launched in the last quarter of 2019, INBUFIN has already shown potential to become one of the biggest brands in the country’s pharmaceutical sector in this short time.  It has also become the strongest product of the company.

Interestingly, Abbott International, the inventors of ibuprofen SALT, have contacted SEARLE IV time and again to acquire the marketing rights of INBUFIN. They have been trying to perfect the formulation for this product since the past THREE DECADES to no avail. As per the company’s stance to take forward INBUFIN independently, the offer was declined. 

Also, the inventor of this product has personally visited our plant and  transferred the technology and formulation to our Group Chairman, Mr. Mansoor Dilawar’s youngest son Dr. Asim Hassan – Deputy Director Technical, who is a Doctor in Pharmacy. Currently he is the only one in our company with technical skills and complete knowledge of its manufacturing process and formulation. Inbufin will play a vital role as the company stride forwards. INBUFIN has already gathered attention from international arena and we have started its export in various countries like; Tajikistan, Iraq, Cambodia, Oman and Afghanistan.

We can foresee the potential of INBUFIN is to reach PKR ONE BILLION InshAllah by the year 2025.

We had tremendous success in Export of this product as well as it has become n number one bestselling brand in Afghanistan.
